Washout Program

AEDES provided surveying, environmental investigations, engineering design, civil and environmental permitting, and construction oversight services for over 50 pipeline washouts. During the design process, we dealt with several complications, such as limited workspace, difficult access, interferences with other utilities, and geologic conditions. The project also required meeting expedited schedules established by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and PA Public Utility Commission (PUC).
