Project Description

Our team played a pivotal role in facilitating the design-build delivery approach for two new transit-scale fast-fill Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling stations. Our involvement began with the development of bridging documents, providing insights and advice to Omnitrans at every stage of the design-build process. From assessing fueling needs to offering construction phase technical support, our team ensured a seamless and efficient project execution.

The CNG fueling stations cater to the fuel requirements of heavy-duty transit buses and non-revenue vehicles. The East Valley project incorporates three electric-motor driven CNG compressors, an inlet gas dryer, a CNG storage assembly, a priority control valve panel, three fast-fill dispensers, and a standby generator. Similarly, the West Valley project features two electric-motor driven CNG compressors, an inlet gas dryer, a CNG storage assembly, a priority control valve panel, two fast-fill dispensers, and a standby generator.
