Hereford Ranch Gas Plant

Project Description

Our team delivered comprehensive engineering and design services for a 20-MMscfd refrigerated cryogenic plant accompanied by 75 miles of associated gathering pipeline. This facility treats and processes gas extracted from the liquids-rich horizontal Niobrara formation within Colorado's Denver-Julesburg Basin. With a commitment to efficiency, the firm successfully executed an ambitious schedule, ensuring the system became operational approximately 10 months after being awarded.

To meet the stringent timeline, the firm strategically divided the field gathering and compression tasks into separate components, assigning them to two independent project teams. The scope of work encompassed providing engineering, design, and procurement services for both the processing plant and compression projects. Additionally, our team played a crucial role in defining design criteria for the processing plant.
