Lead Mechanical Engineer
We currently have a Sr. Mechanical Engineer opening to support operations at our Wyomissing, PA office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and will lead engineering efforts in the mechanical design areas as part of a multi-office design team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual who wants to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assignments will have leadership and oversight of piping designers as well as interface with project managers to fulfill project requirements.
- Create and develop a project design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment layout drawings from concept through approval.
- Develop Steady State Hydraulic Modeling for liquids and gases for use in pipe sizing and pump selection.
- Develop specifications, data sheets, drawing requirements for a complete RFQ package, approve vendor supplied drawings and data for equipment packages including pumps, compressors, meter skids, pressure vessels, tanks, pig traps, control valves and motor operated valves. Develop Technical bid evaluations and make recommendations on specific equipment and components.
- Coordinate with pipe designers and other disciplined designers in the development of project 3D models as well as interdisciplinary reviews.
- Review and selection of piping specifications.
- Participate in HAZOP/PHA reviews, client drawing and designs reviews in accordance with industry codes and Company policies. Code of Federal Register (CFR), Parts 192 and 195 as well as B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8. Experience and/or certification as a facilitator is a plus.
- Development of construction scopes of work to be utilized with construction bid packages.
Capabilities and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Registered Engineer (P.E.) is preferred or the ability to obtain a license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience supporting oil & gas projects is preferred.
- Experience creating PFDs and P&IDs is required.
- Knowledge of the Code of Federal Register (CFR), Parts 192 and 195 as well as ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8
- HAZOP/PHA experience and/or certification as a facilitator is a plus.
- Knowledge of pipeline surge analysis, Stoner or Pipesim is a plus.

Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP)
We currently have a Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP) opening to support operations at our Wyomissing, PA office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and will lead engineering efforts in the mechanical design areas as part of a multi-office design team. Key Responsibilities:

Senior Electrical Engineer
Our Denver office is seeking a Senior-level Electrical Engineer with experience planning, organizing, and developing engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of midstream oil and gas, energy plants, and facilities. This position will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from start to finish.
- Plan personal daily tasks and the work of other team members.
- Manage budget and schedule for the project’s resources and deliverables.
- Participate in or lead squad check drawing package reviews.
- Be able to read, interpret, and check vendor E&I drawings and vendor catalogs.
- Travel independently to and conduct site surveys to document electrical, instrumentation, and controls at existing client sites and facilities (less than 5% of the time).
Capabilities and Credentials:
- 10-15 years of engineering design experience supporting oil and gas and heavy industrial projects.
- Four-year engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Registered Professional Engineer (by exam) or capable of obtaining a PE within 12 months.
- Extensive working knowledge and understanding of the latest version of the National Electrical Code, especially for hazardous locations.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards: UL, API, NFPA, IEEE, NEMA.
- Proficient in interfacing with 480 V and below power electrical equipment (MCC & motor controls, transformers, ASDs, etc.) and performing calculations for conduit fill, voltage drop, sizing of transformers, conductors, panelboards, breakers, etc.

Senior Piping Designer
We currently have an opening in our Pittsburgh office for an experienced Piping Designer in our Energy division. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers and designers on multiple projects for the Oil and Gas industry. Key Responsibilities:
- In coordination with engineers and other designers, produce construction drawings and plan sets using computer-aided drafting programs (mainly CADWorx; knowledge of additional CAD software like Plant3D and Revit is a plus).
- Complete tasks on projects including preparing P&ID’s, piping plans, piping sections, isometrics, bill of materials, etc.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the project team, with a willingness to take on more responsibilities as your experience evolves.

Our Denver office is seeking a Senior Instrumentation/Controls & Electrical Engineer with experience working on Pipeline Projects (metering stations, pump stations, compressor stations) to support our Oil and Gas clients. This position will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from start to finish, planning personal daily work and the work of other team members.
- Apply client and departmental design guidelines and/or drafting standards in daily work assignments with guidance from senior staff. Ensure that layer names, line types, text sizes, and drawing arrangements adhere to the project standards.
- Participate in or lead squad check drawing package reviews.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be able to read, interpret, and check vendor E&I drawings and vendor catalogs.
- Travel independently to and conduct site surveys to document electrical, instrumentation, and controls at existing client sites and facilities (less than 5% of the time).
